Leadership

Citygate Church is pastored by four elders.

Guy Miller moved to Bournemouth from Winchester Family Church in 1999.  He is married to Heather and they have four children. Guy leads the eldership team at Citygate Church and is responsible for the vision and direction of the church.
Guy also carries apostolic responsibility for Newfrontiers with a group of churches in the South West and in India and Portugal.
Heather oversees Streetlife – the work among women caught in various addictions and Beloved – the women’s ministry program.
Guy & Heather love long walks in the New Forest and enjoy fishing with his boys.


 

andrewemma Andrew Lawrence joined the team from City Church, Cambridge in 2003. He is married to Emma and they have two sons. He oversees the church’s building project, cells, finance, strategy and planning and administration of the church. He is also part of the Regional Team that works with Newfrontiers churches in the South and West and beyond. Andrew enjoys messing about in boats and messing about with doing up houses.  He's also well known for slipping in the odd sailing analogy when preaching.


 

colinchrisColin Mitchell joined the team in 1992. He is married to Chris and they have three sons. Colin is responsible for the church’s work amongst the poor and other outreaches to the community. He is also the Bournemouth base leader and facilitator for the Newfrontiers Foundations training for future elders. He believes the Bible is the Word of God.
Colin enjoys a spot of bird-watching, photography and jazz.


 

russcathRussell White joined the eldership team 2006. He is married to Catherine and they have three young children. Russell ended his career as a physiotherapist to take up full time responsibility for the evangelistic aspect of church life and also the welcome and integration of newcomers into the life of the church.
Russell & Catherine love the outdoor life, especially the beach. Russell enjoys mountain biking, kayaking and is always up for a game of football.


 

Martin FloodMartin Flood has worked in the family construction business for 10 years & is an elder-in-training. He is married to Rebecca and they have a one-year-old daughter. Martin currently oversees the ever-demanding kids and youth work and also oversees cell groups in his area. Martin & Rebecca enjoy renovating homes, walking their incredibly stupid dalmatian and Martin's great hobby in life is watching UFC.
